A guide, not an agency
Flores Island Travel publishes planning information: routes, costs, seasons, permits and the honest trade-offs between them. That is the whole product.
This guide does not operate boats or vehicles. Bookings are fulfilled by Komodo Luxury, and this site may earn a referral commission. It does not hold a calendar, take payment, or issue quotations either — Komodo Luxury, the licensed operator within our group, handles all of that directly.
Keeping those two things apart is what lets a page here say a trip is not worth booking, or that a figure is a range rather than a price. A site that took the payment could not write that sentence.

What we will not do:
Invent a single headline price where the honest answer is a range, publish an undated figure, or recommend an operator we have no basis to vouch for.
- Government figures follow the published regulation, cited by name and year.
- Market rates are stated as observed ranges, never as a single number.
- Every figure carries an "as of" year, so a stale one is visible rather than hidden.
- Corrections are made to the article itself and the revision date moves — nothing is quietly appended.
- Where sources disagree, the disagreement is stated rather than averaged away.
- The referral relationship is disclosed on every page, not buried in a policy.
