Komodo Airport (LBJ) sits on the edge of town. Most hotels are five to fifteen minutes away by road, and the harbour is a similar hop, so the transfer itself is a small piece of the trip.
The decision that matters is whether you go straight from the terminal to a boat. Departures typically board between 06:00 and 07:00, so a same-day connection only works if you land the previous evening or take the earliest flight in.
Transfer cost moves with vehicle type, exact drop-off and time of day. Late-night arrivals and island-resort drop-offs cost more than a daytime run into town.
