What two people actually need
Short list. The boat carries most of it.
Worth knowing:
Phone signal is patchy to absent across most of the park, and power aboard is often generator-scheduled. That is usually the point, but it is worth telling anyone expecting to reach you.
- Soft bag rather than a hard case — cabins have limited stowage.
- Reef-safe sunscreen, a hat, and something long-sleeved for the deck at midday.
- A light layer for the night deck; it is cooler underway than at anchor.
- Motion-sickness tablets, taken before boarding rather than after.
- A dry bag for tender transfers to the beaches.
- Shoes you can walk a dry, uneven trail in for the dragon walk.

How much is a Komodo honeymoon cruise?

Flores or Bali for a honeymoon?
Bali is easier to reach and has more choice on land. Flores gives you an empty sandbar at sunrise and a boat with nobody else on it. Many couples do a few days of each.
How long should the cruise be?
Three to four nights. Two is possible but starts to feel like a tour; four leaves room for a day that does nothing in particular.
Where are the best sunsets?
Kalong Island as the flying foxes leave, and the anchorages west of Padar. Your crew will pick by wind on the day.
Is Raja Ampat better for a honeymoon?
It is more remote and more expensive to reach, with longer flights. Komodo is a 1h15 hop from Bali, which is why most honeymoon cruises happen here.
Which boat should we choose?
Cabin count matters less than deck space and crew ratio when there are two of you. A smaller manifest usually beats a bigger boat.
