This site is written and maintained by an editorial desk rather than a single named blogger. Pages are drafted, checked against sources, and revised by the same group over time.
We do not attach invented personal bylines to that work. A fabricated "travel writer" persona is common in this niche and it is a small lie that makes every other claim on the page harder to trust.
What that costs is the personal voice some readers like. What it buys is a page you can check: figures with dates, sources named, and a correction process that changes the article rather than adding a footnote.
